Every district and commissionerate in Haryana has a dedicated Cyber Police Station in Haryana, set up specifically to register and investigate online fraud complaints.
Gurugram and Faridabad, given their share of NCR’s digital and financial activity, each have multiple zone-wise stations (East, West, South, Manesar for Gurugram; NIT, Central, Ballabhgarh for Faridabad), which is why the state list totals 29 stations rather than 22.
According to Haryana Police’s own published figures, reported cyber fraud losses in the state fell from ₹107.86 crore in March 2024 to ₹40.86 crore in March 2025. The state’s fraud-amount recovery rate, the share of frozen or traced amounts eventually recovered, rose from around 8% in September 2023 to over 38% by April 2025.
This is attributed to coordination between cyber police stations and bank nodal officers to freeze suspicious transactions soon after a complaint is filed.
