About Naksh Foundation| Our Story & Team

Who we are

We are Naksh Foundation, a team of committed volunteers and young leaders working together to drive legal awareness, cyber safety, and community empowerment through consistent, on-ground engagement and collective action.

School and community focused

Built for students, educators, families, and volunteers who need practical guidance they can use immediately.

Our Story

We began in 2021 as a student-led group driven by a simple concern, no one should be deprived of legal assistance just because they are unaware of it. In the early days, the work was straightforward to reach people, simplify legal information, and make it usable in real situations. Until June 2023, we operated under the name Sankhyiki, building this foundation step by step.

As the work grew, so did the responsibility. In June 2023, we rebranded as Naksh Foundation with a clearer and more focused mandate, providing legal aid and legal literacy, while also addressing the rising threat of cybercrime. This shift was not just in name, but in direction and scale.

A defining moment came in March 2025, when Naksh was selected for incubation under EiVolve, under the leadership of Venkat Krishanna. That phase brought structure, clarity, and a stronger roadmap for growth. What started as a student effort is now a more organized, team driven initiative, focused on building awareness, delivering support, and creating systems that last.

Vision

Naksh Foundation envisions to build a society where access to justice is not limited by awareness or resources, and where individuals are equipped to navigate both legal systems and digital spaces with confidence. The aim is to create informed communities that can recognize risks, assert their rights, and respond effectively to challenges.

Our Mentor

Mission

To strengthen legal literacy and cyber awareness through structured, on ground and digital programs. This includes designing training, conducting workshops and public campaigns, and building a trained volunteer network that can deliver consistent, reliable support. The focus remains on clarity, accessibility, and real world impact ensuring people not only understand their rights but also know how to act on them.
