About CyberShield

What is CyberShield

Project CyberShield is a public-interest initiative by Naksh Foundation focused on promoting cybercrime awareness and digital safety across India. It educates students, communities, and institutions about online risks such as fraud, identity theft, harassment, and misinformation, helping them understand how to stay safe in an increasingly digital environment. The initiative works through workshops, awareness campaigns, and community-led programs that teach practical cyber safety skills and preventive measures. Instead of reacting after incidents occur, Project CyberShield focuses on early awareness and education, equipping individuals with the knowledge to identify threats, protect themselves, and respond effectively to cyber risks.

Why CyberShield

Because digital risks are now
everyday risks

From online fraud to cyberbullying and misinformation, communities need prevention-
first awareness that is practical, accessible, and grounded in real life situations.

01

Online Fraud

People often encounter scams, phishing, fake job offers, and payment fraud without knowing how to verify or report them safely.

02

Cyberbullying

Students and young users need early awareness about harmful online behavior, reporting options, and safe digital communication.

03

Misinformation

False content spreads quickly online, making digital verification and critical thinking essential for communities and institutions.

04

Unsafe Habits

Weak passwords, oversharing, insecure links, and low awareness increase vulnerability to exploitation and privacy breaches.
